Senior Procurement Specialist

Department: Corporate
Location: Arlington, VA

Tenacious Solutions, LLC is seeking a Senior Procurement Specialist with an active public trust clearance to assist a client in the Northern VA area. Note this position is contingent upon contract award.

Primary job duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead complex procurements, evaluation support, acquisition documentation, contract administration, and procurement strategy.
  • Conduct market research and develop acquisition strategies for Federal procurements.
  • Support procurement and purchasing activities, including acquisition planning, contract administration, and source selection processes.
  • Develop and deliver training related to acquisition policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Recommend and implement business process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Assist in the development, interpretation, and implementation of policies, procedures, and regulatory guidance.
  • Perform financial analysis to support acquisition planning, budgeting, and program execution.
  • Support the development, analysis, and implementation of automated systems and technology solutions.
  • Provide project and program management support within federal government environments.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal statutes, regulations, and acquisition policies.
  • Plan, coordinate, schedule, and execute all phases of procurement-related projects.
  • Manage multiple priorities and project timelines to ensure successful completion of acquisition objectives.
  • Apply extensive knowledge of agency missions, organizational structures, stakeholder relationships, and strategic priorities to support decision-making and project execution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, leadership, and stakeholders to achieve program goals and organizational objectives.
  • Prepare reports, briefings, recommendations, and other documentation to support acquisition and program management activities.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • U.S. Citizenship required with an active public trust clearance or higher.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related major.
  • 10-15 years of progressively responsible experience supporting Federal Government procurement and acquisition activities.
  • Expert level knowledge of FAR, agency acquisition regulations, source selection procedures, contract administration, and procurement lifecycle management.
  • Experience supporting complex acquisitions, contract administration, market research, cost analysis, and procurement documentation development.
  • Proficiency in the use of standard office software and applications (MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.).
  • Strong analytical and statistical skills.
  • FAC-C level III certification required.
  • NCMA CFCM (Certified Federal Contract Manager) certification.

Anticipated salary range is $100,000 - $115,000. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, clearance level, and relevant education, training and certifications.
